Viewed the formation of the 5 fighters nice and low on top of the control tower at the 100th BG museum at Thorpe Abbotts, followed by a stonking head on low pass by the B-17 about a minute later.

Before that, we could see them way out over Snetterton

Oh, and it was shipley in the 51C as he was strapping in about 4 meters from my postion…end

Will it be restored?

Last time I heard they will restore and fly the plane in 1968 BoB markings, the corrosion will be left in for authenticity;0

” what happened to the RLM 02 & 76 and mauve colours, also all the yellow was hand applied by bush as was the unit codes. Paul ratz would be turning in his grave, it looks like an rc model..Enough said
