Please talk us all through your understanding of the policy of the USA government in regard to ex USAF or US leased airframes being in the hands of UK residents!
I only ask as a very interested observer, I await your comments and advice to all owners of Uncle Sams kit.

My comments are just my own worthless opinion. However if i am paid to do a job i do it properly. These days the BBC does its job to the best of its ability!! Maybe.

    BBC reporting on Vulcan problems.

BBC reports on anything at all should be regarded with caution, as to the correct info. therein. They just need to fill airtime thats why all of their visual presenters wave their hands/arms about like martial art instructors. If anyone recalls Dan Snow and his third rate commentary on the 25th anniversary fly past of theFalklands war, we were informed that there were no Sea Harriers flying down the Mall as the CAA did not want any single engined a/c over central London (They were all in storage at Shawbury) One minute later he told us about the Navy Hawks in the flypast!! Obviously they were the top secret twin engined Hawks from deepest Devon. This man got the job because of who his daddy is.
The BBC is a public disgrace end of. And i imagine this post will be disappeared before many of our members have a chance to see or comment on it.
    God bless free speach.

Sorry about this misunderstanding, we do not have one, never had one, as there was only myself with the a/c at various times throughout the weekend if it was given to someone else its probably on their bedroom wall. Maybe we could collect one next year.
    Regards Phil C.

The government can not protect the population against disenchanted youth let alone aliens. Could it have been the Lavender hill mob?

They are Lycoming, I think 0360, I should know really I fly them! We had another G-BDCC ex Boscombe but that got w/o about 10 years ago. Also still at Hus Bos is my old a/c WP809 (G-BVTX) which retains the RN colours, that was never converted. The reason for the bigger engine is they are used as glider tugs.

Many years ago as a youth together with some other train spotters from Wolverhampton I made the journey south to Barry on a Sunday to tour Dai Woodhams steam engine grave yard. On arrival I saw 35022 Holland America Line had just arrived and was virtually complete, with all its gauges still in place.
In view of its impending destruction I liberated/preserved a gauge which i kept for over 40 years. Hearing of a locomotive preservation group who had the actual engine and several others I presented the gauge to them, in order that it would go where it belonged.
It didnt happen, they sold the engine on.
The point of this is, if various different people/groups have thier own interests some sort of legal agreement or plan would need to be drawn up so that the goals would be understood by all.
As good will and good intentions can fall by the wayside over the passage of time.
