    Instrument panel clamps

I hope i am in the right place here!!
I am restoring a couple of panels(F4F fore/aft) and now need some clamps, which appear to be thin on the ground, as follows

    MS28042-1A x7
    MS28042-4A x2

I have seen some in the US but wondered if there might be some in the UK or Europe.

I have tried A&G NFG so perhaps someone else could advise.

    Thanks in anticipation

    No Fly!!!!!

With regard to the reason that the various a/c. above are not allowed to fly on the civil register in the UK. I would imagine that it is down to the CAA being ultra cautious. Requiring manufactures back up.

In view of most of these a/c type builders being long gone, this is the CAA get out.

However years ago when a certain B Pover in Plymouth was attempting to fly Lightnings in this country the CAA put the block on it unless the fuel lines were moved out of the engine bays.

Lightnings to South Africa and flying. Engine bay fire Pilot dead.

    End off!!!!

    Coles Scrap yard??

As a juvenile i used to ride my bike all around the industrial black country.

I recall in the early sixties there being a scrap yard between Great Bridge and West Brom on the right hand side of the road that had sliced up sections of Vulcans and other a/c bits.

Was this Coles? There certainly was a Coles of Bilston not a Million miles away!!

    Blue cross

I purchased XL613 and XL573 from disposal sales many years ago, they were lying at Shawbury. Both had the blue cross on each side of the nose. At that time i thought it signified that they were for disposal/scrap.

Not Boscombe Down, it was in a shed in Wolverhampton. The crew have adapted well and after debrief for twenty minutes claimed it was against their alien rights.
They now work for the council on alien settlement schemes!!
