It is now my day off. It will give me time to fully appraise and digest this most interesting column.
Thank you and goodnight.

I think you are all being rather negative.

Does this photo have some sort of subliminal meaning in view of all the aircrew adopting a semi teapot pose.
God bless the colonies.
Phantoms to fly!!!!
It is good news that the F4 has gone to a private buyer, for many years there has been the spectre of the good old US of A hanging over the few F4s that have been in private hands in the UK.
God knows why, they had been demilled in the most aggresive manner, cut in half and only the front end left!!
I have watched various threads over the last couple of years as an interested observer, concerned that my efforts may not only be in vain but could cost me a vast amount of money!!
The Everetts are a money making company who have done very well over the last 20 or so years. The fact that they have secured any F4/F4s is good news because it means the deluded cousins in the colonies may now be seeing sense, in that we will not be selling bits of antiquated American a/c to the horrors in the middle east. (Thats Iran if you are from the wrong side of the pond!) And another thing if Iran/Iraq/Greece/Turkey or allah knows where put up an F4 how close do you think it would get to a current US of A aircraft to do any damage?????
Answer NOWHERE.
I look forward to seeing the outcome of this deal one way or another.
However i think the method of disposals in the not quite UK these days needs to be reviewed. Compared with 20 or so years ago i must say i think it is not quite the same, if you get my drift!!!!!
If they still have the Chippy at Tollerton thats the one to fly!
Wulfies Wolves
Having watched Wolves forever and a day, I appreciate your negative response to my upbeat hopes!
The match is on Sunday at 13.45 at Molineux. In any event 37+86 will be there.
At this point just tell me you dont support the Tesco bags, because if you do you should change your name to Thrush, enough said.
Foxes or Phantom
This creates a dilema!! Should i miss an afternoon on the south bank watching Wolves beat the Foxes or take the Phantom down on Saturday evening have a few beers and socialise.
Anybody want my ticket for the game?
Wulfie pm me with a phone number and i will sort it. Regards 37+86
Witham
With regard to the Gazelle helicopters its a shame Witham are short of engines! I wonder where they went, as if we might not guess!!
Vetting
Funnily enough i just posted re this very subject in the Boscombe Phanton thread. I will not repeat it here but bring back the good days!!!!
