We should stick to that stupid argument that most inexperienced forums follow : Western equipment are naturally better and that’s that and all Russian equipment are junk. All figures from western manufacturers are 100% true and all russians are liars.

I have’nt seen any Chinese bringing down Western equipment either. There are the gd, h177, SD-10, PLA types who’d like to preach that the SD-10, FC-1 etc are the world’s best but that’s another matter. 😀

It would be just as easy for anyone to post 10 new threads praising the performance of Western equipment etc and no one is going to object. It’s not that the forum has a majority of russian fans and even if there are, so what?

Official publications did mention single channel analogue FBW to replace hydraulic controls so FBW was always expected. Don’t know if the prototypes have it. But tell me, what use is FBW if you’re using a stable platform?

At present, I have’nt seen signs of pakistan acquiring any one of the various types mentioned by you guys on the forum. What do you expect one to do when he sees claims that the PAF will get the J-12? Is it also humanly (does’nt apply to PLA/munir) to discuss anything related to pakistan without bringing the I word into the discussion?

As for JSF vs. Su-30MKI, JSF will surely win in BVR, it wont let itself to be in any position to be closer to Su-30mki, so you can rule out WVR combat.

only the latest planes have HMS, BVR and IRST… So I doubt that the fc1 is that bad as some Indian posters think.

BVR is 60s, IRSTs came in the Draken, HMS came in the early 80s. Get your facts straight, o’ nationalist dreamer munir.
