Yes I also think it was a bloody good idea not to post details of the flying display, please can you do the same when you make the 2006 kemble website ?

Oh and since I never got to the 2005 show due to my current problems, please anyone tell me if there will be a DVD of the show on sale soon, and will they be having an open day in September like they did in 2004 ?

Just been reading about this on yahoo news, seems a total farce to me.

£5 better spent in the airfield caff!

Well I have heard it all now, 655MAPS work for free 50 weeks a year to keep there Vulcan in fast taxing condition, and without people paying to attend the public display once a year its very hard to imagine them being able to continue.

This whinging about the lottery funding is a nonsensical arguement, and I for one am heartily tired of the constant drivel spouted here by many of the “anti558 clique”. The fact is that virtually no historic aircraft is put back into the air with all the funds needed in the bank at project inception, with the exception of those owned by billionaires, maybe. Often projects slow down while funding catches up.

The attitude displayed here by many appalls me.

Yes it unbelievable that with so many “threats” around Historic Aviation right now people are happy to publicly cast doubt on one of the most high profile rebuilds in the world.

If you don’t like the Vulcan or jets full stop thats fine, but when a small group has made such a huge step forward as have VTS we should at least have the good manors to offer them our full support.

Making out that the various company’s and groups involved with XH558 are anything other than 100% professional company’s can only do yet more harm to the historic aviation cause.

Just how long can this Vulcan last before it falls apart completely ?

    Thanks people 🙂

Have taken legal advice today and its a case of 50% good news 50% bad news, despite my best attempts to get my savings and credit card unlocked I have been told that until this is sorted one way or another then the answer will remain no.

Also they won’t allow me to have full access to my income just a small samount per week.

Anyway now for the good point’s the company’s that are owed money have agreed not to ask for the repayments to start until the police have finished there investigations.

Also one of the company’s that are owed money have agreed to write of the debt in full so thats £1000 less to worry about, lets hope the rest follow this example.

Thanks for the good wishes, I have spoken to the police again tonight and this could drag on until October, thankfully the police do seem to be very sympathetic, the banks don’t seem to care they want there cash and don’t care how they get it.

I will however be making an appointment at the solicitor first thing in the morning so I can hopefully get a start made on dealing with this nightmare.
