Being sensible (for once 🙂 ) I think the Nimrod AEW3 did some test work at Finningley, before the project was cancalled and the E-3D was purchased to replace the Shack AEW2.
Cool, its going to a good home 🙂
Happy Birthday, oh and thanks for all your work keeping the HHA Hunters flying I’m sure everyone here appreciates your efforts.
Happy Birthday, have some Brick photos as a present 🙂
Some people who post are not as robust physically or mentally as others and are not as in control as we would all like but does that mean that they are banned because they do not conform to our model of “normal”. Like I said let moderators moderate and when necessary interdict.
Well I speak for myself here but its not a case of being “in control” more a case of not being able to 2 write/type what I want to say and this cause’s frustration thus leading to outbursts.
Having dyslexia makes posting here or anywhere else rather hard at times, and yes I do end up ranting at times but I don’t mean it I just cant help it.
Dont forget they are still open every Sunday and most weeks you might get to see an engine run from 1 or more of the Jets.
I will be going up in the next couple of weeks, they need our support more than ever right now.
Yeah Brunty is always a good day out, lets hope they can get an event up and running soon.
Oh yeah that Titanic model, one of my brothers was building that and got glue all over his hands while working on said model, then we had a nice couple of hours in A+E so they could unstick his fingers 🙂 🙂 🙂
Yeah the FAAM had F-4S 155848, they swapped it for Scimitar XD220. The F4 is now at East Fortune with the Scimitar in New York.
If I had the cash I would get NX611 flying again, oh and also I would rebuild a couple a couple of Gnats and start my own display team 🙂
Shame he never got 11 years but still makes a change for any of this scum to get sent down.
Somewhat off topic but the RAF Cosford museum has an excellent art gallery, well worth a look at when visiting the museum.
Thanks Les B 🙂
Yes its G-BURM from the 1990’s I need the to know about.
Well I am going to build the thing, even if I am unable to fly it myself I know a couple of people who are more than able to fly it for me.
But lets be honest only people who really want to do this properly are going to spend all that time and money on the project.
