Thanks Robbo, I enjoyed all of your Lancaster photos.
Every one now has a radiation sticker attached to the panel, due to the danger from the luminous dials.
I feel safer already…
What an absolute farce 🙁
No F-16 at Gransden then?
Not this year, but I did here down the pub their might be a B-52 attending 🙂
But some old women down Duxford way said it was going to be a Vulcan 🙂
As a treat for the “happy couple” maybe the RAF could do a BBMF flypast at the Wedding followed by a full Red Arrows Display 🙂
Oh a wedding yeah that means fireworks 🙂
There was a report of work being carried out on 648, has anyone who has been recently got an update?
Yep work was also going on when I visited on the 1st of this month, also the Lincoln and Vulcan seemed to be having work done on them 🙂
Nice photos, and yep not long until NX611 starts its 2005 program Wed 11th March is the first run.
Thanks for pointing that out, got it edited now 🙂
Thanks F4, however updated photos would still be welcome 🙂
Bring on the scrapmen now please.
Someone should have done so about 10 years ago, back then it might have been possible to get some useful parts from XL391, still like you said the lawyers will have a field day with their commission over this case.
Mike J could you please post some photos of their recently acquired Jetstream after your visit ?
Moving the Swift outside would be ridiculous, why not move their Jet Provost outside its not like their ain’t any Jet Provosts inside and theirs loads still flying or taxing.
A photo of the Swift taken on Nov 4th last year. (note the excellent condition would soon be a thing of the past if it goes outside.)

Nice photos everyone, anyone care to share a few Lancaster photos seems ages since I last got to see it fly 🙁
Scotty GR4 why not just start a thread on the Brick or whatever else you wish to talk about there is room for all kinds of threads in this forum, well apart from ones about sheep shagging of course 🙂
I imagine the people in charge at e-bay are not to happy about this situation becoming a total farce, as lets face it this ain’t gonna be good publicity for them.
Talking of XL391 there is a good feature on said Vulcan on the airscene uk website click here.
As I said about 2 weeks ago the whole XL391 situation has now become a farce.
It’s gonna be interesting to see what the coming weeks bring.
Yeah but let me off, cause I’m a bit thick 🙂
