Note my previous post has now had a quick clarification 🙂
Maybe the person in charge of food at Cosford should go and give some advice to their counter-part at Hendon as Cosford’s food was first class today.
Hi jeepman, I know about the landmark building and that the construction work is for that project, what I meant is I have no idea what they were doing from a technical point of view, as I have sod all knowledge of building and construction practices etc.
Thanks for pointing out what the “drone” is, nice website by the way.
Thanks Bograt and TMN, plenty of building work was taking place, however I ain’t got a clue about what exactly they were doing.
Stewart1a, you noticed I posted the Lincoln photo twice then, but I got it changed nice and quick.
Thanks everyone, will be starting my proper lessons soon 🙂

Only had a single trial lesson so far, but when I get my PPL I want to do a tail wheel course and fly a Chipmunk.
As I said Danohagan it looks like a long term project, but next time I’m their I will ask them about the timescale and let you all know.
Thanks Stieglitz and Damien 🙂 glad you liked the photos, and thanks Robbo for the link.
T J after having a good look at it today, it looks like its going to be a while yet.
But worth waiting for.
Your new “directory” is good, I hope it builds up over time.
No the one rescued from Flambards is XE368, it is at present being restored to static display condition.
Their was a vile tsunami joke posted to a fireworks forum, a week or so back, and it was loads worse than the comment made by Rodney Marsh.
However the owner of the forum, removed the post and banned the clown reasonable immediately.
So my point is people will take the ****, its uncalled for and I don’t find it funny myself, but it will happen, but should someone who made a single iffy comment about it really deserve to lose their job.
Would a better solution not have been to tell Rodney Marsh to work free for a month (his wages to go to a tsunami fund of his choice) and then allow him to continue his job as per normal ?
Spuds, yes them things we cook in very large quantitys at work.
You wanna get an Echo or Double D oven to cook spuds so they tate bueatiful, but you would need £70,000 for said ovens.
Anyway I like them little new potatoes with butter smothered over the skin, and of course Sunday dinner would not be complete without some nice roast spuds, and or roast parsnips.
