Thanks for clearing that up.
Thanks for the help everyone, it’s appreciated.
Thanks for posting the extra photos 🙂
Love the photos Guzzineil, anymore ?
£1500 you could a new A4000 (the most high-end Amiga ever) for less than that new back in 1992.
I made some class games back then including a half decent Jet Provost Sim then using Blitz Basic and some simple space games using Amos so once I get another A1200 will have to get them all working again then over to the p.c. and put them up as downloads.
Who needs Delphi and C# a few years back you could get all you needed for £20.
Thanks Robbo, I will get a copy with my paper 2morrow.
The reason I got banned from Ebay was down to a misunderstanding with them that 4 months and plenty of e-mails later I’m still trying to get resolved. Hopefully common sense will prevail and they will let me back on.
Anyway I need an A1200 as I have found loads of old disks including one saying “Andrews game” and I thinks that it has my very first attempt at making a game on it so I wanna play it again.
Anyway I have downloaded an Emulator and the Kickstart roms so I can play some games I have in .adf format.
Oh and in-case any busy bodies want to moan about emulators being against the law I have not done anything wrong by downloading the roms as I own an A1200 albeit totally destroyed and wrote off.
Thanks Neil, thats one useful website.
Just watched this and it was first class, it was really nice to see the clips of the RNHF Sea Hawk in the air :). That is one brilliant little jet and it looks and sounds amazing, hope to see it in 2005.
So on Boxing Day I can add the following line to my signature,
“XMAS – over” 🙂
No, this was another Vulcan scam – yes, there were two!
Bloody hell 2 scams that takes the biscuit 🙁
That Douglas Bader site seems like a load of rubbish and is in rather bad taste to be honest.
Oh and there was no allegedly about the old Vulcan scam – the bloke did jail time for it if I recall rightly.
Are you referring to the XM655 Association by any chance.
I remember talking to the ****** who was running his and he told me all this stuff about his plan to take XM655 to Kemble for restoration and then fly it over to America.
I still have the leaflet he sent me along with some letter asking for donations.
BTW the above mentioned group is nothing at all to do with the XM655 MAPS who keep XM655 in running condition and arrange the taxi runs.
Getting back to Concorde well I am usually positive about what will fly again, however their is sod all chance of Concorde flying again.
Its sad but some people should wake up an accept that it ain’t gonna happen.
All I know is XL500 moved to Kennet Aviation back in the summer. Apparently the move caused some minor damage to the plane but nothing to serious.
Talking of Gannets whatever happened to the plan to fly XA459 ?
The problem with HLF money is people all have their own favorite projects and when HLF donate to other projects, some people go on forums and at airshows etc saying that the money has been wasted or that certain things are unworthy of HLF cash.
Lets face it the sort of thing I describe above is hardly gonna make HLF sit up and think lets chuck more money into historic aviation is it ?
How can one get a Sea Vixen and a Vulcan mixed up ?
Still Kate (my girlfriend) did refer to a Venom as a “baby Sea Vixen” the other week 🙂
