Their Victor and Lincoln projects both turned farcical and I would hope those responsible don’t ever get trusted with a rare aircraft ever again.

2004 well one has not had a good year in fact its been hell at times.

Airshows etc have been the last thing I have card about with so much going on but Wings and Strings and Waddo were both high points in a very very bad year.

Also been 2 a couple of museums etc but thats been it.

    Anyway so far this year

1 a couple of close relations have died from Cancer.

2 I split up with my girlfriend

3 My car blowing up with me inside

4 my mum got very ill and could have died it was very close in fact

5 my brother got badly hurt playing footie and spent a few weeks feelign bad

The worst thing is this time last year I was going on another forum saying how well life was going and how happy I was yet now I wish I had kept my gob shut.

Anyway things look like they are settling down now and I’m looking forward to next year cause things can only get better now.

One can avoid all the crap with Microsoft and their service packs by using Linux.

I use it on my laptop and at my P.C. at work but the main computer at home has Windows XP as thats what the rest of my family want but I am going to install Linux alongside Windows when I get round to it.

The thing with Blaster and other worms and virus’s etc is their made by saddo type geeks who are 100% obsesed with their computers and care about sod all else.
So why on earth do they set up virus’s to wreck the things ? its like they wanna ruin the only thing that means anything to them.

This is caused I think by a “worm” possibly Blaster in some shape or another.

As a first step try using Stinger its kinda good at dealing with this crap.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks for the update.

Yeah their was some interest from someone a couple of years back about getting hold of this Sea Hawk but for some reason its not for sale.

However I think that in a couple of years time we will have a second Sea Hawk flying again 😉

From over here in Sweden I am getting the impression that there is some monster called “Health and Safety” roaming the UK that is slowly strangling everything that is enjoyable!

Your so right and its gone beyond all reason.
Still in our local area some idiot got £2000 for walking into a road cone in broad daylight and the thing had a bright orange flashing light on it.
His injury was a small cut but he used Health and Safety against the company doing the work and got all that cash.

I think company’s and council’s and Govt are worried about more farcical claims so try to remove risk from every little thing.

Thanks for posting the photos Mpacha.

I’m sure Norwich Air Museum will do their very best to keep it looking nice and I wish them all the best with their new aircraft.

Once Coltishal closes this Jaguar might end up as the only one preserved locally to the base the same could be said of their Lightning even if it is an ex Saudi one.

Its nice to see them keeping their local history alive.

    Yeah XM603 the Woodford Vulcan.

All its systems and engines work but some fool from the Health and Safety group stopped it being run on safety grounds.

It was unable to taxi as the nose wheel steering broke at some point since it arrived at Woodford back in 82.

Their was a program on Discovery Wings the other night that showed a few seconds of it doing an engine run at Woodford a few years back.

It was last run in 2002-2003 and their are rumors it will end up at Manchester airport.

    Thats excellent news.

Lets hope both aircraft have plenty of full and safe airshow seasons in the years to come.
