Dont think they will get rid of the Red Arrows to be honest or the BBMF as their are similar rumors regarding them as well.

However it has to be said that the whole Eurofighter funding situation is a farce and the person or persons responsible should be sacked.

This has to be a total scam but sadly I expect some people have sent in money etc.

To be honest the sooner this Vulcan scrapped the better as its not going to be saved and if nothing is done the whole thing will just collapse as the undercarriage is totally ****ed.

Think Cosford is bad well you should have been at Fairford back in 97 I think it was.

We got stuck trying to get out the infamous gate J for over 6 hours. We were lcuky some people were still in their at gone midnight.

Daimen I think it has to be the best day out I have had in ages the daytime event was good on its own but then the nighttime stuff was just the best thing I have been to in ages.

The flying was top and the Gants were fantastic the music was very good not my normal sort of music but it was excellent and the fireworks were just the perfect end to it.

The last bit after the flying had finished and they were playing “land of hope and glory” with loads of fireworks going off was very atmospheric.

The only problem I had was the camera was not 100% setup right as sometimes when I pressed the shutter the lens started zooming and would not take a photo unless I turned it off and then on again.

Does anyone have any ideas how to stop this please ?

I have been to Cosford and plenty of other airshows and had all kinds of **** getting in and out of them but I still go into the airshows themselves as its important to support these events or they will dry up.

Also I was not telling you what to do I was simply asking you to consider the long term effect of yours and plenty of other peoples actions that all.

Nige I don’t agree at all with you attitude.

In my opinion the “sit outside” brigade are doing the airshow’s plenty of harm.

It takes revenue away from the show and or charity’s puts of sponsors and gives other’s the idea this behavior is ok.

Nothing personal against you but please consider this if everyone adopted your idea of sitting outside or in a field or a bowling club or whatever what would happen to the airshows ?

Well I expect the whole airshow calender would go dry very quickly.

    Thanks MOFT.

I was using my new 35mm Minolta SLR but its so much more advanced and powerful than anything I have used before its taking some time to get used to. Plus its my first ever go at photoing flying aircraft.

Was a very good day out but I got carried away today and went running off down Sainsburys and spent just over £20 getting them all processed on the 1-hour thing.

Robbo that 747 was very impressive I live on the flightpath to East Midlands so we get plenty of airliners flying over but nothing like that.
