I still miss the Sea Vixen’s red and yellow paint scheme, however I don’t care less what it gets painted up like I just hope it stays in the air.

I was doing a bit of work somewhere a few months back and the building in question was meant to have a ghost.

So me being the idiot that I am says if there is a ghost then why dont something happen now, at that point several heavy boxes fell of a high shelf and the lights started going all funny 😮

I kept my mouth shut after that.

To be quite honest, that £10 is better spent on drug addicts, than on oneself.

Your having a laugh aren’t you, that £10 would be better spent on helping the victims of crime or better still why not give everyone who works hard a £10 cut in tax each month.

Trust me I have been the victim of some rather nasty crime in the last few years and the victims get no help at all.

A woman who committed ID fraud against me, beat her own boyfriend up so bad he spent 11 days in hospital (some people might find it funny, but if it was the other way round there would be an outcry) and has been found guilty of several other fraud crimes got taken on a free holiday to the lake district, as she claimed she was suffering from “stress”. It’s a bloody disgrace and its high time such madness came to an end.

As a result of that woman I have been unable to have a holiday since 2004, the one I have just booked for 2007 therefore will be the first one I have had in 3 years she gets done for serious crime and gets a free holiday, what kind of message does that send out.

Come on all you do-gooders’ please tell me what I get for working hard, trying to help others and not getting done by the police cause right now it feels like I get sod all and am meant to be happy about it.

That sort of thing has been going on at E-bay for year’s, hence why people are becoming fed up with the whole site.

Yeah now I think about it they most likely were just taking snapshots to flog to the fans.

    Where on earth is SWAD?

Swad or Swadlincoat as it’s called is a small town in Derbyshire.

I’m sure someone looked at getting a Starfighter flown into Brunty at some point but the CAA were unhappy with the idea.

I saw it on a newspaper this morning, i couldn’t believe what i was reading

Would that be the Daily Express, I’m sure back in 2004 they same paper did a similar story saying the Red Arrows would be axed, a couple of weeks later and they were doing a story saying they had “saved” the Red Arrow’s.

Still it makes a change for the Daily Express to print anything that ain’t about tax going up.

Rob, the trouble is that the poster’s got just as much idea of the answer as anyone else and has the nouse to find the information. One might question why there’s a need to list serials but not bother looking them up on a well-known database….. or is the forum supposed to do all of BlueRobin’s homework for him?

Without wishing to stir up trouble could it be the the person who started this thread wanted to discuss the said aircraft and the situation with regards to them flying, rather than just reading info from a website or G-info.

The point of an “historic aviation” forum is to talk about historic aviation / historic aircraft so why all this silliness, I would have hoped everyone was way beyond that these days.

Anyway getting back to the original point does anyone know how long it may be until Canberra VN799 fly’s ?

Regarding Hunter WT711 I don’t think it will be made airworthy however Classic Flight do have a Hunter at Kemble being worked on by Delta Jets that might fly at some point.
