    XX901 has had its systems trashed so will never run again 🙁

    XX885 at Scampton will fly again in the Uk again with any luck and their is one at Bournemouth that could also be rebuilt to fly.

    Looking forward to seeing the Bucc at Duxford rebuilt I remember it being on display with a couple of f-4s in the mid 90s at Coningsby.

    They were good days 🙂

    Is the Bucc going to be made taxiable then?

    Hope so it has some systems working but it would be nice if it stays in the same place for a while it pops up all over the place ie kemble farnbrough etc.

    How are they getting on with the Sea Vixen?

    Not sure but they are hoping to do an engine run soon 🙂

    Yes I agree very highly with this point one day it will end up getting scrapped and replaced with a Nimrod or Awack and that will be a big shame.

    Yes I no the Lanc at Hendon has sat around for years and is not gonna fly soon what I mean is the airframe etc in good enough condition to get flying again.

    Yes Its mega unlikely but It would be nice to have a good option to rebuild if anything happens to the BBMF Lanc.

    I hope that they can get an F4 to cosford would be nice 🙂

    If they dont want to move the one at Coningsby put it on that carpark that people use for viewing Its just opposite the bbmf shop for those who have no idea what im talking about.

    Ofmc did try to get an F4 flying but it came to nothing 🙁

    Yeah remember seeing a BBMF spit flying next to a Tornado F3 as they both came back into coningsby at the same time.

    Is anyone else a bit concerned that the F4 at Coningsby XT891 will be scrapped when the Tornado F3 goes on as gate guard late this year ?

    Also has anyone got a recent picture of XV406 at solaway air museum ?

    Could you provide a link to the pics please.

    If it is the one at East Midlands then some systems may be in working order and run up but they dont run the engines on aircraft at the Aeropark.

    No they are not going to stop flying at Thunder city they are after more planes.

    They have been after an F4 for some time and are looking into flying one of the S50 Buccs.

    They may be getting rid of some Hunters however.

    On the subject of Lightnings someone told me someone in Portagul wanted to get hold of One that is in the Usa at the miniute.

    I don’t think any other Lightnings in the UK are in running condition yet.

    However Gatwick air museum are going to rebuild theirs and run it.

    Also some project to rebuild a T5 somewhere in Linconshire.

    Is it complete would be worth going to the airshow to see it taxi.
