    Hi

What about the Jaguar though or is this likely to be classified the same as a Lightning?

Well their is a Jaguar GR1 at Brunty not sure who owns it or what plans their are for it.

Might not seem like their is a good chance of one flying in private hands but people said that about the Sea Vixen 10 years back.

We will just have to wait and see what kicks off.

If the CAA will not let the Lightning or Buccaneer loose

Well the CAA may well let XX885 fly in the UK.

That is what a member of HHA staff says on avi8.

    Some nice ideas so far.

Another idea might be to buy a Jaguar GR3 and get it to Brunty and taxi it.

Also the Sea Vixen at Southampton could be rebuilt to fly that would use a lot of the cash.

Why not get the Vulcan at Coventry in running condition then taxi with the Shack.

    Hi

Talking of powering up Vulcans do they run the systems on XM605 over in the USA.

Someone got most of the systems working again and would have got it in running condition but they banned him from working on the Vulcan.

    Shame.

Also do they still power up the Vulcan at East Midlands XM575 ?

    Hi

Lets not forget the T5 (XS422) in the Usa that has a good future with AALO who are working towards flying it again. 🙂 🙂

I don’t think LPG have enough cash to put their F6’s under cover just yet but do not need much more cash.

Newarks T5 (XS417) will be going into the New hanger their and this should be sometime in 2004.

    🙂 🙂

    Hi

First nice pics all lets have some more please.

Second the Gatwick lightning its going to be run up in the future.

I think however the best UK lightning is the T5 at Cranfield.

    Scott c

When are you going to get the fin and wings back on your F3 ?

Nice to see you doing your Lightning up as it was a bit of a mess before you got hold of it.

    Hi

On a serious note the Vulcan at Norwich XM612 still has many of its system in working condition the engines are still good enough to run so with work could taxi.

Doubt it will but it could.

    Hi

Maybe XJ823 could be one to watch if they get it undercover as I was told they want to.

Wont fly but could be run again with work.Same for XM612 at Norwich.

    Hi

Yes well If he trys it with me again he will be sorry.

A couple of people have told me not to add my site url to the bottom of my posts but whats the point of a website if no one look at it.

I am the victim here and I dont need this.

    Hi David

I agree with you 100% but that is what they want to do.

Give them some parts and let them restore 824 if they genuinely want a Vulcan that can be run up.

    Don’t scrap 824 please.

Keep 558 at Brunty after its flying time is up ( and make sure 426 is able to take over ).

    Hi

I think the Duxford example (XJ824) will have its future decided in some part by what happens to XH558.

If 558 ends up at Duxford then 824 will end up being scrapped.

Sad but thats how these things go.

    Hi David

I don’t think that a Vulcan that has been cut up can be considered the best example even if it is inside.
