    Hi

    TempestNut

With respect what the **** is a DH Hornet ?

    Hatton

Well said M8 we should all try and support the people behind XH558 and the Scampton Bucc etc

If these people are going to try lets be as optimistic as they are after all we all want to see these fly again

    Hi

Would have thought their was plenty of parts with it being a recent aircraft.

Are their any GR5’s still around.

Even I will say it wont happen but it would be nice to see the GR3 flying in the Uk again 🙁

    Hi Scott C

Does the Victor taxi at any other times in the year or only at the airshow and if so are they public events ?

Are their plans to get the Victor undercover if not lets hope the one at Brunty gets inside or we will one day only have static Victors ?

    Hi

No I have seen the Sea Hawks for myself and was aware of the Cod 4 Gannet 2 years ago.

Losing the FGA 4 would not make the SeaHawk extinct – only the particular Mark

Thats not the point this is the only one in the world so I just think it would be nice for it to be saved.

Maybe The FAA could do what they have with the T2 Gannet and loan it to a museum.

As for the FGA 6 yes I think parts of that one have been used to help rebuild the RNHf’s example.

Their is also WV911 that could fly again or at least was that way a few years back.

    Hi

    WV903 in fact

The plane is dismantled with no cover on the cockpit in a “storage area” at RNAS Yeovilton.

Something needs to be done to it fast or their goes another “last type”

    Hi

I meant why get them running again would it not be better 2 use these in a plane that they could be run in and put 2 “dead” engines in the Mossie.

    Hi

Not being nasty but why do all this work on the engines if they are never going to be run ?

    Hi

Thanks Robbo for the link downloading it at the miniute should make things better for me

    thanks for that

Anyway about the Bucc yes I think the Caa will let it fly its just gonna take some time

Also the Shack might be able to come over in 2004 the problem this year was down to getting all the paper work done in time

    Les b

The sea vixen has good single engine preformance a good safety record and plenty of system back up plus its only classed as “intermidet” not complex and that always helps
