Hi
1 Well yes their is a good chance of a Bucc flying again HHA are working towards this and have the Caa “onside”
Delta would have got theirs flying here if they had given it more time
2 Yeah I have bad probs with my spelling but have some consideration
Its only a few people on here that are nasty most are cool about it all 🙂
3 Well If people want to think history ends in 1950 thats their problem I enjoy jets right up-to the new stuff and want to see plenty of them around in 20 years
Hi dhfan
1 Yeah ok fair comment
2 I was not getting at you the people who have no who they are and its not fair
I was in fact talking about XX885 the bucc that HHa are trying to get lying in the Uk
Not XH558
3 Fair point but these no need for people to get so silly over it the if its jets **** it attitude of some people on hear is very nasty and not needed I dont like old bi planes and aint that keen on ww2 stuff but I dont take the piss out of those that do
Hi
NX611
End of story
Moggy C
What is your point their is nothing wrong with being positive
I saw the samething with the thread on XX885 people take sutch a negative attitude
Nice Picture Guzzineil
Anyone got any idea if their are gonna be any taxi runs for 2004
Do thy no just what a mess this Gannet is in still be nice to see something done with it
Glad is going to Aeroventure the collection their building up well
Got a vulcan nose up their (XL388)
So worth going just 4 that
Scott any more news on your Lightning hope its all going well
Its about time something was done with this Gannet it is looking a total mess so Im told
Wonder where in Yorkshire its going
Elevington
Aeroventure
are the 2 best bets
Whatever happend to the Gannet XA459 plan was going about to fly it not herd anything for a long time
Hope it aint gone **** up like the one they were gonna fly in Aus
The CAA would not be amused.
Dont want to be flippent but if a Victor or Lightning takes off by “mistake” on a taxi run it might just convince the Caa that one of these could fly ok without causing a major problem
Bucc and Vulcan less off an Issue as the Buc owned by HHa XX885 may well be flying soon at uk airshows and XH558 just needs the cash
Yes well said Hatton half the place seemed to be taken over by FairGround rides
One more thing
How many Jp or strikmasters were their not moaning nice to see them all 🙂
Well I thaught it was one of their better efforts 🙂
Static Display first class plenty to see
Flying also very good that F4 near the end was cool.
One thing is the Vulcan on static display (xm607) could do with a repaint
Would be nice if their were more display teams (Spanish are very nice to watch) but all in all a very good day out
No Euofighter jokes this year:D 😀
Buzzin Pics M8
Makes me look foward to seeing one fly even more
If plans go right one could be flying again in the uk in 5-10 years
Saudis may have one back in the air soon
And of course 3 fly in South Africa and a 4th is under rebuild as is a T5 in the usa
Its nice to have someone on here with inside info on Newark air museum
Thanks for clearing up all the rummors
One more question about the Vulcan
Are their anyplans to replace the old wires to get more systems working again ?
XJ823
XJ823 is a B2a and is at carlise airport
I dont hink it is a live aircraft at the miniute but and its a big but it may be restored to some life soon
The reason i say this is i saw on a site they are after working apu, ground support equpimnet and good condition jet pipes
Vulcan
Are they hopeing to get the flaps and or engines in running order.
It seems they have a second Vulcan demo planned for this year sometime in june I think
Are any other planes at Newark in anysort of working order be nice to see the Shack run up
