EZY wont give free transfers or anything if his FR flight is late into STN. If he misses his connection in STN within two hours of the flight departing then he can do a Missed depature fee of £35pp other than that its seperate airlines and each airline has a job to get you from point A to B and not onto C.

Shamrock is right, your best bet is to pay the extra and fly on ‘the same ticket’ that way you know its up to the airline to sort you out.
Ive lost count of the amount of times that pax have missed ‘connections’ in STN with FR when travelling NCL-STN with EZY, Even when the EZY has a short delay of an hour or so they still miss them, alot dont realise why Easyjet dont put them in hotels or get the to ‘point c’ without it costing them money, the bottom line is LCC’s are great for one destination but I wouldnt risk mix n match low cost airlines!

EZY now charge for checking in an extra bag. It dosnnt go down well with pax and when there being charged you hear remarkes of ‘next time we will fly BA’. £30 to check a second bag in on a domestic of short-haul flight is abit steep EZY charge £10 and I think thats a rip off! The amount of times ive been asked the question ‘what exactlys different from taking two bags at 10k than one at 20k’…….I really dont know what it is!

I think Easy have done a good job by pulling out, It shows that they are a great deal about there pax and crew safety. Its roumered that the runway may have to be pulled up and re-surfaced again, not sure how long this would take!

Nice to see that flights arnt being canx and are being diverted instead, I can see a big bill from coming BRS airports way!

I aint heard about diverting to BHX, I know the ezy569 and 573 from NCL are diverting to CWL today. Will be a long delay on the 572-573 legs as A/C will be sitting in CWL waiting for pax to be coached between two airports.

Leo is still as LTN, I know he was on a ‘media’ trip to Prague a few weeks back,so not sure if he has got another job title. Im not so sure if he still works is a passenger handling role.

haha, No never been over to wings any good?

they are starting to come in more regular the a319 now, think its because EZY have worked out how to manage there aircraft rotations more efficantly!

Threre was a long delay on the EZY565 on tuesday, so the 566 operated the inbound and returned to BRS as the 565, it was a BRS a319 (G-EZIH)
it departed at 10.25 with 54passengers, where as EZY567 (G-EZJG) departed at 10.20 bound for BRS with 71 passengers!

Im thinking it may well have been easier to just operate the one aircraft…….could have saved a few quid!!

G-EZIX was in NCl yesterday due to an ‘aircraft change’ It was a STN based aircraft which operated a reverse rotation. It arrived in NCL as EZY517 and went back to STN as EZY516.
The EZY514 was operated by G-EZJI which stayed in STN and returned back as EZY519! hope that makes sence!! haha.

Funnily enough its SXF with easyjet they used desks 1-4 to film it they are there today and tomorrow. SXF is no longer served by ezy at ncl but they even had it on the departure board flight ezy6487 to berlin schonfeld departing 14.00 check-in 1-4…..surprised no one was asking how they couldnt book it!

Its a British film being made, I was told its about a group of men going to berlin for the world cup and but before they go they rob a bank and have to get to ncl in time to catch the flight to the world cup! think iv spoilt it seeing as they have been filming all day at the airport! lol its starring paul nicholls and val blackwood think he’s off lock stock….probably be out in 2009 are something! they caused some disruption in the airport by having all the film equip and crew blocking the exit to domestic arrivals.

I think ncl is still a local airport, yes you get alot of pax travel from yorkshire and scotland but the place is small, confusing and un organised the amount of people who dont have a clue where to go when they have checked in and the fact that places arnt sign posted. Another thing iv noticed is the fact that jet2 has taken desks 12-15 for check-in but sn brussels and ryanair have to use these too just makes the old part of terminal chaos, wouldnt it be easier to but some flights in new terminal as thats like a ghost town in the winter

Its like the winter at ncl biggest a/c is a 757 i think! nothing much to look out for except for the odd foreign football team charter or maybe a leased aircraft by ezy or af when theres are tech, Need more variation but dont know if there is the demand? wonder when they are extending the runway if thats still going ahead, and if there ever going to improve or extend the currenct terminal…suppose these questions can never be answered lol
