What about the chance of a 2nd AEU based 737 ?
I would never put it past AEU trying out a 757 at LBA though.
Well i could put money on AEU basing a 757 at LBA next summer as well as a 737-700. Thomson flights in recent years have warranted a 767-200 so im guessing the airline Thomson will charter the flights out to will use pretty decent sized aircraft. Maybe Monarch, Futura or Aer Europa could base an aicraft.
Which planes would you say have loudest reverse thrusts.
Not good at all for MME, thats going to really hit it in terms of destinations served. However at the end of the day if bmiBaby feel they can make more money out of consolidating their operations, then so be it. Hopefully someone will fill the gap…
Globespan, JET2, Easyjet, Ryanair ???
What are 737 take offs like, ive been on 737s in past but cant remember the take offs much.
Here are some of my favourite planes for take offs.
1. 757
2. MD83
3. 767
4. A321
5. A300
Luzair i think.
Luckily i have never had an aborted take off, wouldnt mind an aborted landing tho 😀
theyre a pain in the ****, last time i had one was MAN-LGW-VRA and it basicaly added about 2-3 hours on what was already going to be an 11 hour flight.
For me it’s got to be on an MYT 752 from MAN-ALC. The flight was already delayed 3 hours due to tech. faults, so we taxiied out and spooled up, lifted the nose wheel and then slammed the nose back down and full reversers were deployed. Was very cool but scary 😀
an aborted take off then ?
When do Virgin get theirs ?
Wonder what next ????
Lisbon, Las Palmas, Larnaca, Paphos, Malta, Madrid ????
airbuses do seem to have more fast landings.
Ive done a MAN-LGW position on a MYT 767-300 and it used a very derated take off.
Think i will give this a miss then.
Surely there must of been some full power take offs before.
