Why don’t they look at 737-300 replacements, never mind getting more.
They should look at maybe 737-600s too.
The 757s still have alot of life in them, so do the 767-300s, however long haul maybe they could see if a 777 would work.
They have also sold off G-OBYC to Air Italy i noticed.
Flew that aircraft in 2002 Gerona-Manchester and last year Manchester-Reus.
Shame really 🙁
Will Thomsonfly go for winglets ?
Apparantly cremations leak out alot of poisioness gasses.
Do Excel have IFE ?
Im avioding Astreaus to The Gambia for that reason, you can have short haul with no IFE but not long haul.
Or just look at Prince Andrew who got a flight from London to some where near York to play a game of golf.
I have got my facts right and believe me people say Ryanair aircraft don’t have window blinds and meal trays. Some Ryanair craft do but only older 737-800s.
I must say i sooner rather be on a JET2 flight than a Ryanair flight.
I mean Ryanair to me sound terrible, no meal trays, window blinds, seat pockets etc
Probably because the island is so small and in no way associated with the UK, unlike France and the Netherlands. If you want to get there, you can just go via Amsterdam or Paris, or even the United States.
Neither do we have assiocation with Cuba but we still send flights there.
The place looks like it would be a fantastic holiday destination.
Looking at the picture of TOM767 have they ditched the 2-4-2 for 2-3-2 🙂
JET2 will hopefuly win some customers.
Some of my best interiors i have encountered are.
BY 360 era
Airtours International early 90s
Thomsonfly (non leather)
Air 2000 (old style with red seats)
However some which did not appeal to me are.
Spanair (Very cheap)
Air Scandic (Very grubby and taccy interior on A300)
Later that same evening a B757 of Monarch Airlines did the same, and I saw an Excel B757 land with the emergency services in attendance on Thursday last.
Your point being?
Which Monarch 757.
Why no UK flights there.
Yes but surely if they want to expand they must try airports like Aberdeen and Norwich which at current moment have potential but no actual low cost aircraft based. Manston is also a good move.
Yes but that could soon change, afterall they now have Tenerife as a base.
