I don’t see why Air Transat give the Toronto service another go using a 757, wasn’t it quite popular ???
I think LBA-NYC is doubtful, even NCL lost their AA route.
Anyone know what routes G-WJAN and G-SJMC are doing this winter.

I doubt we will ever see TCX or FCA set base at LBA, most i see is a few W’s thats it. If we are ever to get a 3rd based charter aircraft i would put money on another AEU machine.
Im confused on the 757 scenario too, i mean G-WJAN has returned, however there is rumour another 757 will join the fleet soon.
Things at MYT are confusing, one minute they don’t want the 767s next minute they do :rolleyes:
What about the other 767 G-DJAC, the one still at Skyservice will that make a come back. If G-SJMC goes tech what replaces it ?
I want another charter airline based at LBA, surely TCX or FCA.
Some needed routes are Orlando and New York for definate, and i think low cost transatlantic is a must, you seen the likes of AA’s and Virgins prices.
BA 767 G-BNWH is a very lovely aircraft to go on, people always knock it, but legroom and seat width is so generous.
The BY 767s G-OBYC and G-OBYD that i went on in summer were simply very cramped and i would hate to spend a flight on one of them transatlantic.
Only done a Monarch A330 once to Tenerife, that was a bit squashed but ok, but returned on an A300 which is quite similer.
I wish MYT still had the DC10s 🙁

There is one airline talking to LBA at the moment about the Possibility of starting a once weekly service to India Spicejet.com. Flights would be operating via Stockholm again and by that swedish airline swe-fly.
Also there is a lot a talk about a new Trans Atlantic Charter service into North America. And No i don’t mean New York by the way.

I don’t mind 767’s, they always have lovely powerfull take offs and are always smooth flyers, however when in charter airlines hands they seem to cram as much seating as possible making it very narrow and poor legroom.
The BA 767 G-BNWH i flew on last year to JFK was very nice, great legroom and seat pitch too, however going on a BY 767 in summer i soon noticed a big difference. Apart from comfort having no PTV’s is my only other real dissapointment, unless they fitted them on G-SJMC.
Isnt LBA having a direct Barbados service this winter.
Anymore news on this about Astreaus flights to Gambia.
I would be very interested to know if there will be any more 767s coming this winter. Im very much certain my flight will be on G-SJMC, i take it this is the aircraft that was nearlly written off 😮
And of course has a 2-4-2 config, very narrow seating, poor legroom and typical charter standard, i love it 🙂
Will this plane just be doing long haul or will it be doing Canary routes as well.
