How about an A-6 (actually KA-6d) plus an A-7E (Northern Arabian Sea, 1981)?
I prefer four jets, too. A 4 jet formation. A-4 jet formation.
Here’s the Sally B bounce – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTnoHn0PGCM
Well saved!
This is a bit off-topic, but what a tantalizing array of aircraft in the foreground of that video. Blenheim (I think), Tigercat, Hellcat, Catalina, Avenger, Grumman Goose. All that, plus Spits and the Sally B.
Bob
These, I suspect, wouldn’t be very much help at all.
Tomcat!
Marine attack aircraft that doesn’t need a tailhook. The AV-8A is older, but the deck is newer (LHA-4 vs CV-10).
Sabre with a tailhook.
Actually, it looks more orange than red. Speaking of orange (Oranje blijft Oranje).
It wasn’t such a thin connection as all that. After all, the banned Hunter had a band around the tail.
Another Beech (Aviodrome, Lelystad, NL)
Another aircraft with a partly red nose and a partly red tail. Plus a black shoe masquerading as a brown shoe.
Usually has spats, but this one is bit worse for wear.
Another airplane with spats, and twice as many wings.
An older set of photos from Laatzen.
Okay, I’ll play. Heads or Tails?
