    Hi as a fellow Yorkshireman now resident in Shoreham I can thoroughly recommed Shoreham Airshow this coming weekend – it may be a bit far to travel but I did hear a rumur that there may be a curious delta winged aeroplane visiting at sometime over the weekend – fingers crossed!!

    Cheers for the reply Mark but as you say there is a bit of a distance problem especially with the cost of go,go juice 😡

    Hope the show goes well and you get to see the delta star.

    Good stuff and fond memories re-kindled,makes you wish you had taken more notice of even the common aircraft of that time like original 737’s and 727’s.Love the DC-8,we used to call them “tubes” when we were spotting on the terraces at Manchester……who remembers being able to go to the end of all the piers ????

    I was there on Sunday and was guttted when i just got the tail end of the An-124 taking off ! Anyone know what they are doing to the 146 with all that scaffolding

    quality ! just look at those classics ! plus classic camera and film choice (i had two ME supers and loved the quality of Kodachrome 25)

    C.141’s always looked better than big brother C.5’s,sleek looking especially in the old grey and white colour scheme.Wonder how long we will see Galaxy’s in service ?

    Cat’s are ace ! especially when you have visitors and they decide to have a washing session involving tucking their heads into the lower regions 😮
    Mine is a bit more fun seeing as he is over 17 years old and half blind…he has a problem dodging the kids toys that are scattered around !

    Worded carefully – XH558 should/will be at Waddington, because if Waddington agree a civil jet during airshow week to arrive then a Vulcan will be at Waddington.
