Anyways I had always believed that from MMRCA competition, India wanted to absorb critical military technology which can help its military industrial complex, like the current generation engine technology from the offsets. Only Rafael/Eurofighter/MIG or MAYBE FTeens(if there are no strings attached) seem to offer some engine ToT.

SAAB has promised deep TOT for JAS 39, but I see that it suffers from one major drawback just like LCA of not having its own engine and relying on American F414 engine. Just wondering what technology SAAB can provide which can give new impetus to Indian – Mil complex?
