It had a good run, might be replaced by an A350 line though, other new things airbus are lookin at include an A330 frieghter, watch this space……
I don’t think there is an official designator for an aircraft with or without winglets, some sites use WL,but boeing doesn’t seem to distingush between wingleted & non-wingleted aircraft.
AMS has to be the best place in the world for spotters, amazing shots.
I’d say it’s an early embraer design, that was used for promotion.
I’d love to go but i’ve got college tests all day,it’s also my birthday 😮 ,hope the weather is nice for you, there’s a lot of new routes/operators starting to Dublin this summer season,so i hope we don’t let you down 🙂
I have some rare shots of the short lived 737-300 ops as well as a few with winglets & the dreamliner
All the -300 pics are scans sorry 🙁
Rosberg won’t win a championship with williams, they’re not good enough,as soon as the other teams figure out how to build V8’s williams will drop like a stone.
It’s a shame itv didn’t show the whole flypast, they kept cutting out to show mark blundell’s mutton head, the two aircraft did some pretty spectacular stuff.
I find it strange that BA looks to america for aircraft, when alot of british jobs depend on airbus & it’s success,I expect the A380 to be ordered along with the A350,& 777’s to fill the gaps.
I don’t think YS will but 777’s,they compared them against the A346 & choose airbus,an upgraded A346 is doing the rounds, using A350 technonolgy so i thin thats more likley,as for the A350 itself,it depends on whether thet want to fly routes that have that sort of demand,as the A343’s are fairly old.
The french government have no idea what on earth they’re on about,i just hope no other countries follow this action,it’s a dark day for everyone in aviation.
How busy is DUS??,are we talking similar traffic rates to say MAN or quieter?
I think they’re still in the arizona desert at the moment,i think WX has gotten rid of the 3 146-300’s they had,& have an all -200 series fleet again,I’ve seen G-MIMA in basic titles but no tail logo,You’ll hardly notice when the rj85’s come as they look the exact same!
The old eircell schemed one is used as a fire trainer here in dublin & is parked outside the fire station at the moment, european aviation took one last autumn, the rest i think were sold to be broken up for spare parts.
All ryanair aircraft use pier A along with aer lingus aircraft that are flying Uk routes, there’s no gates at pier A.I’d say there’s less than 10 ryanair 737 overnighting. As for aer lingus,i’d say about 20 A320/321’s overnight, only a handfull would be parked on stand,at pier B & one or two on pier C,cityjet also have a few 146’s parked on the ramp overnight.I’m not sure of exact numbers/aircraft that are based
