ROFL!!! TVC ain’t going to enable Brand X (take your pick) to outmanuever today’s WVR missiles. Your TVC-equipped fighter (assuming you have one) will be just as dead. And you’re also assuming that the F-35 couldn’t get close enough undetected to launch an AIM-9X or ASRAAM which the F-22 has been showing as not a problem at all.

Any TVC on fighter is not for avoiding missile or conceal from Electronic Arrry Rdar but for active attack.

There is one major problem with the Ka-50, and that is the rotor system. It sure looks great and is effective (especially on naval helo’s where a large rotor disc means more compromises in the ship’s design), but it appearantly can’t handle negative G’s which resulted in at least one Ka-50 crash, with the loss of life of an high-ranking Army Aviation pilot. After this incident, it’s no surprise that the Russians have switched preference to the Mi-28 again. Even though the Ka-50 has better looks.

Arthur: Do you have video to show this crash?

Looking into the sustained turn at 5 km and starting with 900 km/h,
what is Mach 0,78 at that height.
It does take 36 second or 10°/sec, but doing so the Flogger is running out of steam very fast and is down to 490 km/h and has to go into minimum sweep to stay airborne at that height and speed. 😮

Would you mind tell me how to convert the G limit to turn rate?

    climb rate:
    (H=1KM,M=0.9): 224m/s
    (H=5KM,M=0.9): 160m/s
    sustained turn:
    (H=1KM,M=0.9): 6.9g
    (H=5KM,M=0.9): 4.7g
    accelleration
    (H=1KM,M=0.7~1.00): 21s
    (H=5KM,M=0.6~1.25): 55s

Who will post F-4 and Su-15?

IRAF_PILOT please ignore the racist rant ….so back to foxbat vs phantom II
what measures can the mig-25 take to defeat the sparrows, if the F-4 identifies and fires its sparrows first ?

Same question is what measures can the F-4 take to defeat the Amos, if MiG-31 identifies and fires its Amos first?

I do appolagize for the “mediocre” according to the video you posted in which I saw the Eurofighter did amazingly agile maneuver even better than F-15 Eagle fighter could do. A nice plane also.:D

MiG, the diagrame was made by Russ themselves, so it is more likely overestimated because it is a Russian fighter. If you have the same diagram to show how US fighter would be with fair comparision and give us the source where you got these diagram, which could be convinced.

On all aspects they are similar, but
    F-15E has advantage on speed
Su-34 has advantage on weapon load

No, it does allow the max weapons-load with max internal fuel. 😉

Don’t know what do you mean…..

Su-35 also look like Su-27 but it does not mean its performance is similar. Su-34 cannot have same MTOW like Su-24 with 43 tons. It is just full information is not released. and in replacement you want to increase capabilities not decrease it. so 200 to 300 Su-34 may do the job of 2000 to 3000 1970s era bombers from Su-25 to Tu-22.

According to here, the Fullback has 44.36tons of MTOW
Accordin to some rare photos below, its max weapon load will be over 10tons at least
