Dublin is great Airport police just talk to people who are dumb enough to park in front of emergency gates although I had a bad expierence on May 1st when all thr heads of state where in Dublin. My ma dropped me off miles from home and 10 minutes later guards arrived to move me on but I had no where to go.I walked to a pub and when my ma came to collect me I was gone. She had airport police searching for me and then they told her they had found a bag so straight away she presumed I had been taken away.Soon the police found me and I got a go in a airport police car and returned to a crying ma lol.But I was more interestd in the Bratthens 736 which had just landed.

I don’t think Braathens have the 736, maybe you mean the 73G (737-700). Sorry to be pedantic. Interesting tale though.

This was the second highest story on TalkSport at 6pm. A big thing for the airlines concerned, but a big news story?

This gives a very good idea of what to expect at BHX and views from the indoor spotting area. Depending on the time of day, there are plenty more of other airliners of interest as well. In good weather the outside area is great, but in bad weather the indoor is a useful alternative. Thanks for your photos!

Abroad, in my opinion DUS has to be No 1 now with the new station viewing spot. Followed by FRA (you can’t necessarily get close to what you want to see/photo) , then AMS (too many runways, things can be missed, but still a great airport). CDG is difficult but can be rewarding – but certainly not spotter friendly. In the UK, being based in London, I know that LHR and LGW have gone down the pan. LUT is not too bad, but STN is more difficult. LCY is easy, but lacks variety. Haven’t been to Scotland, but in my opinion both BHX and MAN are very good.

Very good news for those at PIK and BFS. Hope it lasts, but I’m not sure it will. Apart from runway length, I assume charges are less at PIK than GLA(BAA)?

The Travel Service is not one you see every day and the VLM’s are an interesting contrasts. Grateful for interesting shots.
