    Might Not Be Impossible

Getting a F-14 might not be all that impossible. I believe the CAF has one stuffed at Midland. I was surprised to see one in a small museum in Tulsa …. probably obtained with congressional help. I’d have to check to be sure, but I think some of the private aircraft carrier museum’s have them. So it could well be possible if an acceptable museum put in a request.

It wouldn’t hurt to have one of your established museums ask. After all, George does owe Tony a favor or two. And according to a couple of other threads I’ve been reading, we Colonials owe a fair amount of penance for some of Hollywood’s excesses (sorry Chaps)!

Good luck. I hope you get one or more. A better fate than the scrapper. If you ever read the WIX board, you may find the NHC is the biggest obstacle.

The Arado 234B is on display at the new Udvar Hazy Facility at Dulles. At least one is off your list.

This year, I stopped at the USAF Museum while driving through Dayton from Southeastern Pennsylvania several times. A few weeks ago, I was fortunate to get to Hendon for a couple of hours while on a business journey to Luxembourg. I believe the elapsed time for the air/tube travel to Hendon was less by an hour or so! Both trips were well worth the visit.
