I found them on http://www.aircraftslides.com/
Yes, i am from Sweden.
More helicopters from Albania. AB.206 and AB.205:
And now some Nanchang CJ-6A! 🙂
Some more pics from my archive, Shenyang F-6, Shenyang FT-2 and a Shenyang FT-5. Kapedani, do you have any possibilities to scan the picture of the Po-2?
Thanks for the information Kapedani and LIKA! 🙂
I found this article with some nice photos
http://www.avijacijabezgranica.com/Photos/Privremeno/nov2004/nov2004.html
That sounds very interesting LIKA! Do you remember if the MiG-19PM:s on the photo had any serial nr. on the nose?
I have also been looking for pic of Albanian Yak-11 and Polikarpov Po-2, but they have also been impossible to find. I got the Yak-18 picture by email from Frederik, who has a model flying club (http://www.albanian-eagles.org/). Maybe he has more photos.
Is it true that Albania recieved 1 two-seater version (FT-6) of the Shenyang F-6 and some of the reconnaissance version FZ-6?
Glanini: I have never seen those pics of Albanian Shenyang F-6 before…niiice! 🙂 They don’t seem to have any serial nr. on the nose.
LIKA: Very very nice pic of an early Albanian Shenyang F-6. It seems like this one also doesn’t have any serial nr. on the nose. Do you know if the former pilot you got the picture from, flew the MiG-19PM before the Shenynag F-6?
I have tried a loong time to find a pic of an Albanian MiG-19PM without luck. 🙁
Some more pics i found on my harddrive:
1. Shenyang F-6
2. MiG-15bis in early markings
3. Yak-18A
3. Very very very rare picture of a Albanian Yak-18 trainer!!
T-33 forced doen by Albania
This is what i have about the T-33 that was forced down over Albania
Dec. 23 1957.
It was a Lockheed T-33A-1-LO with serial number: 51-4413 It was probably on a ferry flight to Greece (?) from Chateroux air base in France
The T-33 with one crewmember on board was forced down over Albania by a MiG-15 (it would be vey interesting to know exactly whic MiG-15 that forced down the T-33). It is now on display at the National Museum of Weapons in the city of
Gjirokaster.
Here are some picture of the T-33 displayed at the museum in the city of Gjirokaster:
(Anyone who recognize the badge on the fin on the T-33?)
A nice pic of a some Shenyang F-5. Are they trainers? They have no roundels just like the MiG-15bis/UTI trainers. when were the roundels removed on the trainers?
Has the Shenyang F-6 on the pic been repainted in the same gray color like the F-7? It looks like it is grey on the topside and bare metal underneath.
Kapedani, do you have any pictures of historic Albanian AF..from the 50ies-60ies, or know anyone who has?
Nice pictures again Kapedani! 🙂 I especially like the green painted Alouette! du you have any more pictures of it?
Yes please! post more pics! 🙂 very interesting! 🙂
Here is the other pic of the Mi-17. I didn’t see any jetrangers or ab.205s. I saw a Mi-24 hind and a MiG-23 in one of the hangars. But there were too many guards with kalashnikov so i didn’t dare to take pics of them. :/
The Ugandan Mi-17 have been posted before. I have another pic of the Ugandan Mi-17. I took the photos at Entebbe AFB in may, june 2004
Some more pic of Albanian AF
Some more pics of Albanian AF.
A Shenyang FT-5 from 1 Skuadrilja, Aviation Regiment 4010 at Gjader
Two Shenyang F-6C probably from 2 Skuadrilja, Aviation Regiment 4010 at Gjader
Thank you LIKA for the pic! 🙂 But it is actually a Shenyang F-5 (MiG-17F), look at the speedbrakes on the rear fuselage.
