While we are on the subject. What is red eye?
a Red Eye flight is one that, AFAIK, departs or arrives very early in the morning. I think the theory is that not enough sleep leaves you a bit blood shot in the eyes…
In tomorrow or Sunday Monday Tuesday?

BMI are doing charters this year from BFS. The only destination i can remember is Paphos. It should be an A321.
They also are doing at least 2 charters from Belfast City Airport.

Bmi use A321s on all but the last one of the day to BHD, which is an A320 or the occasional A319.
They use an A321 on all flights but use an A320 (somtimes A319) on the middle of day flights. on a Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed/Thu last flight is ALWAYS A321 as it is needed for the red eye the next morning which is always at full capacity or very close to it.

Nice to know it’s doing the rounds, but without wanting to rake up old tribal problems this side of the Irish Sea, does anyone know if it’s coming to Belfast at all? There are no BA services to BFS anymore, BHD only has a BA MAN service it could possibly operate on (though I’m not sure about a 757 getting in/out of BHD with any kind of payload), yet I’m sure the BBC would want to see it coming to the kiddie viewers in Northern Ireland.
Anyone got any positive (i.e. confirmed) info on whether we’ll see it here or not?
I believe EGAC is rated for 757 to use it. Mind you if the load only dictates a Dash Q Q300 i some how dont think a 757 will be justified.
Anyway BP only have been here a maximum of 2 or 3 times in last 8/10 years!!

We have not ‘gone bust’ or ‘ceased trading’!
mmm wouldnt “ceased trading” mean that they are not currently actively trading, which they are not. So havent they actually ceased trading and his statement is slightly incorrect? No doubt we shall have a lengthy post on here now saying they are still on track etc…
