Yes another thing to note Moondance commented on about runway use. I arrived around 2000 and it was pitch black when we landed. When we took off to go back home in dusk we took off towards the sea. The 2 times i passed AGP during the day they were taking off towards the sea!

Full Aircraft, probably came in slightly too fast and brakes had a big job slowing it down. Undercarriage brakes overheated too much and whilst taxing off the runway and to stand they catch fire due to the heat.
Based on something similar i saw on tv before involving i think an A340 id guess that they will need new wheels and brake pads etc, assuming no damage to anything else.

When i flew into AGP at xmas we flew from Madrid down to Malaga and then passed with the airport on the left (beacon visible from air) whilst decending and went out to see becoming coming back into land.
I reckon the base leg was about 3nm or 4nm and the downwind must have been approaching 10nm as it was quite far out. Landed on Runway 32

DANOHAGAN,
Yes i do agree with you. He is a complete poncy and d’head in my opinion and his records i think are crap! Its a shame xhibit cant come as he brings life to the american version!
You make it sound like the vain attempts to obtain a conviction under corporate manslaughter in the UK – lots of executives saying the they personally had nothing to do with the day-to-day maintenance of railway tracks or making sure that their staff were properly trained and wore the right protective equipment. Etc. What about the recent courts martial about soldiers torturing Iraqis – once again someone senior apparently gave an order which the lower ranks thought was correct to carry out, yet it was only the lower ranks that were prosecuted.
The point is that someone, somewhere, gives the order and someone, somewhere, should be held accountable for that order – whether it is to save money by cutting down on maintenance costs, not following through with company safety procedures, giving an order with the impression that it was right to abuse prisoners, or for prosecuting a war under false pretences. The kind of people who give those orders are paid alot of money and given alot of responsibility, yet seem to escape that responsibility when smelly stuff hits the revolving air disturber.Flood
Fair point theres about people being held responsible. Mind you i doubt Bush makes decisons on kit or exact specifics of treatment of prisions etc as this is only 1 issue out of a whole host of others that need his time just as much. You cant say Bush is accountable for the mistreatment of iraqi people by US Soliders just because he is the overal “Commander” in the Army. Yes i agree who gave orders originally should be held accountable but people use this to fuel hatred of Bush when i think there is no question he would give such an order without somone leaking he did so and therefore public outrage.
People use too many things such as mis treatment of soliders against Bush and claim he is very very stupid. He worked on documents such as his Foreign Policy and Home Land Security as well as no doubt working on alot of his election details himself with his team. I doubt someone who is supposed to have quite a low IQ (has to done offical IQ tests – er no or not at least ones publicly viewable) could help decide what to do on issues such as Home Land Security and all the other policies as the technical knowledge they would require to learn would be too much for their brain to handle!
Thank god someone has a kitchen light fitting like me. Was thinking i was the only one who has 3 spots mounted on ceiling! phew
Are we invited to the wedding? Perhaps Key Publishing could provide the cake if we were all invited 😀 :diablo:
Michael,
Does this happen for smaller aircraft such as the 737?
Have you tried faster approach speeds of 160 with larger aircraft such as 777 or 747?
MSFS isnt THAT accurate in terms of approach speeds sometimes. Also do you play about with the trim settings at all? If not have you tried trimming the aircraft? Take Num Lock up and press num pad 1 to trim elevators UP and 7 for down.
“Observed the student recieving oral sex from another student. I asked the student to report to the office. Chris went to class rather than the office. Chris was sitting in a chair with his pants down to his thighs while the female was on her knees in front of him”
I think people could be mis reading the USA Governments intentions over the next country they want to disarm so to speak. George Bush has in his European visit been asking for help to persuade Iran etc to stop doing all the stuff with nucelar weapons. Germany and France have publically said they will not go straight in like Bush did in Iraqi.
They want to peacefully persuade Iran etc to give up their various vices and are now seemingly supporting Bush as he wants to do just this. Remember Sadam wouldnt talk that much and did give the Inspectors the run around to a large extent by telling them which facilities to vist and when until a large foot was put down.
Ive heard alot of people through various mediums saying this is all Bushs fault himself and no one elses. Has everyone forgotten Bush has a large amount of advisors and people working at the White House that make decisions with him? He does have the final say but they are supplying him with the facts which he makes decisions with. If someone there wanted something done they could potentially supply the wrong facts in favour of something to get his approval… If the CIA/FBI etc said to him they had weapons of mass destruction and that it was highly accurate why would he doubt them as before Iraqi he hadent had a test of their inteligence (9.11 is a whole other issue) accuracy before.
Why dont get get this moved by a Mod to GD for those who wish to continue with this thread?
rdc where is the pol that says 99% didnt want him back in? Strange as the poll i saw conducted on behalf of the BBC around election time made out the gap as more of 55% opossed and 45% for.
Can i just say your usually an adult once you reach 18 as you can vote.
The whole thing about younger people having an opinion that was “their own” isnt true as peopel who protested and set fire to USA flags outside the embassy in Belfast later admitted for the vast majority they did it as they wanted to fit in with the current “phad”.
bmi star you cant ask a question and then say end of matter just because someone disagrees with you!
I personally think 18 is too young to vote and it should be for people in uni and onwards as when your 18 alot of people dont know even what their carrier will be
