Right since you go on about Airbus offering X etc off. Now is high time you proved Airbus offered this to the airlines…..

If its just speculation, you cant base all of your comments up to now about this on speculation if you havent got 100% rock solid proof.

    So where is this proof?

Im not getting into an Airbus verus Boeing war but i was merly commenting on what was said in the most recent issue of Airliner World magazine.

Since when did overall costs of pilot training, maint., and everything else the bean counters take into account not matter. Airlines dont just buy a plane on account of Airbus offering a bit off the price tag they spend weeks and months researching what fits their operation best.

When Boeing started the 737 line i would bet all i own on them offering money off to try and get customers to choose their product, even when it was to a certain extent in a monopoly as it had very very few rivals.

Once again sandy you only ever look through your rose tinted glasses at what you want to believe and dont take into account the fuller picture of the big bad world. Your definetly off the christmas card list now!

During my writing of this post Sandy edited his post from

“its overtaking the 737 in orders… due it its heavily discounted price”

to the above. My comments are based on his first post.

I must say that Virgin Picture is stunning!

Perhaps we shall see a thread like this for the A320 in the future as it seems to be overtaking the B737 in terms of popularity with locos who are putting aircraft orders in at the minute.

Never had a bad flight on a 737 and loved each and every journey! Cant wait to see the flybe ones at Belfast!
