Im not fighting was just saying that taxi drivers dont mind taxing people to RWY 28 spot as its the main trunk road back to Dublin for buses and taxi’s. Then he changes his mind so its actually 16 he is talking about!

From personal experience I would still stick to my view, on one trip we got a taxi from the terminal out to the Runway 16 spot at Dublin where he dropped us off at the big roundabout there and he was well put out at having to go straight back to the Terminal and queue for another fare.

Naturally it would be different if you got a Dublin based taxi but the Airport guys are looking for a decent fare of quite a few miles not a hop around to the other side of the Airport.

Make your bucking mind up! You said 28 originally. No wonder he was annoyed at Runway 16. You said before RWY28 and that was what my comment was directed at.

We usually walk it to there when we go as the taxi drivers won’t thank you for asking to go there.

Simply not true – this is the most used road back to Dublin that taxi drivers use. They are happy to take you this was as it is on their way back to dublin for fares!
