Old news at BFS. BFS must be on of the UKs most widely regarded airports for leaks from management and staff about new routes. CO and BWIA have been on cards for at least a year. I think we have quite a nice variety of airlines now. Not amazingly busy but the ones we do have give a good variety. Im sure MarkL and wannabe will appriate new routes next summer!

    BWIA
    Continental
    Air Transat
    easyJet
    My Travel
    Air 2000
    Eastern Airways
    bmibaby
    Jet2
A wide range of rare charter flights

Also the new Terminal is getting a complete overhaul atm including addition of a new Pier with 5/7 new stands. The Viewing Facilities will be upgraded also with addition of self cleaning glass (according to a ramp rat). I doubt we shall ever have Open Air for obvious security reasons.

PIK to Belfast – mmm with flybe competing from Belfast City to GLA and easyJet offering International to GLA i dont see a demand.

Also pretty much a cert. that it will a service from the International as most new ones are as they get a good deal for smaller aircraft at Aldergrove.

Possibly – but if you count fighter aircraft as “a/c” then probably not.

Everyone for LR ops with A320 family is now chooisng the CFM as it uses less fuel than the IAE. The old CFM was not good at fuel burn and they redesigned it because alot of airlines were choosing IAE over CFM.
