Spotting at belfast is quite hard without a car. Some good new areas have been found but best i can say really would be if you use Viewing Gallery or walk out of the airport and follow Signs for M2/Belfast. Once you leave the Airport immediate area you will pass large security cameras on either side of the road. Keep walking (walk along RHS of road) and you will come to a ROAD CLOSED barrier. You can freely walk up this and spot as they fly over your head. There is also a small restaurant visible from the barrier further down the road.
If you are departing on the 1955 i can come up to BFS around mmm 1400 for a few hours and take you to my special place 😉 lol . It has VERY VERY VERY good views over the Runway 25 threshold!
