Id rather see more Airbus in their fleet like A330 or A340. Strange they are even looking at Boeing given their previous stance of converting to all Airbus…

We have 2 TNTs which are in both pretty much all the time but the only scheduled full time service is an A300/B767 with a second Boeing 737 service for any overflow when needed (usually once a week)

They handle all the UPS, Fedex, Initial City Link etc etc mail to and from Northern Ireland

Well wouldnt it make more sense to start her on revenue service by flying home LHR to Singapore?? You would only need one set of crew trained for that which could easily be done at Airbus, Tolouse.

This article made me laugh, he talks of not allowing check-in baggage or charging for the priviledge, then goes on to say why do we need seats? 😮 What is this guy on?! 😉

SPIEGEL ONLINE: To lower your prices and your cost, you’ve started to make airplanes more spartan: no window blinds, no seat pockets, no reclinable seats. Where’s that going to lead?

O’Leary: Adapting seats is relatively small beer. The big change that could be coming is eliminating check-in baggage. If you do that, you can simplify the way airports are designed. You no longer have baggage haul, no handlers. No lost bags, no lost-bag departments.

Strange the only people who usually have to checkin baggage are us plane spotters and business people (carry on brief case). You would have thought he would want holiday makers to be on ryanair…..
