RE: Disappointment to say the least

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-05-02 AT 11:00 AM (GMT)]I will be travelling to Heathrow now with bmi for it so got any info for me to get to Farnborough apart from coach as I have looked on there site and the last coach is when we get into Heathrow @ 1015!!! There site is very vague on travlling details! All the site seems to do is list the aircaft at the show!

Any other shows in the UK??

    Regards,

    Andrew M

I am going to plan to go now cos never been to a airshow before! Where exact is Farnborough and what airports is it near to? Any served by easyjet or go perhaps?

RE: Sweets on take-off – a thing of the past?

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 29-05-02 AT 08:13 AM (GMT)]I can remember getting sweets on British Airways I think in 1991 when I was five. I travelled alot during thoose days so I was on BA a few times that year!

Also, it isn’t the same ut it kind of:

Between 1997-1998 i travlled evey two weekends(during school time not over sumer or christmas) from Belfast City to either Birmingham or Bristol. As I was an “UM” at the time I got all the Cadbury’s Wispa’s they served on British European all the time. All the unwanted ones from passengers came to me who was sitting in First Class 🙂 🙂 I also got the free drinks hat were left over :-). I got to know the cabin crew and pilots as when I left on the Friday it was usually the same crew comming back on the Sunday! Most have clocked up well over 100 hours during thoose two years!

When I first saw this jet in “Flight International” i simply loved it. I think it is one of them “cute and cuddy” jets!

    Anyone Agree?

    RE: Easyjet / Deutsche BA

I am told realiably that Barcelona is a area they would like to start a hub in after Edinburgh and Belfast!

I personally love easyJet and wish them all the well.

If they get DBA and Go they will probably go after maybe a lower cost airline but not full lost cost! Is DBA only 737’s for commonality?

If all goes ahead would this mean they would have holds on:

    United Kingdom
    The Netherlands
    France
    Switzerland
    Germany
Spain – Over 5 in spain!
    Italy
    Denmark
    Austria?

Wings are made mainly at Hawarden I am realiably told by Airport ATC. THere is a major airbus factory with more than daily flights with that big ould looking airbus with the massive brains! “Guppy?”

Yeah, the information on their site must be correct but i just checked again and their reporter who was at easyLand said it was a merger of the two companies. Could they make up their minds soon??
