There was the often repeated episode of ‘Extreme Engineering’ (I think that’s the name?) on Discovery Wings last night, which was all about the freighter business.
Good stuff about transporting race horses in special air stables across the world for breeding programmes.
Saw that before. Flight was from very north america wasnt it??
Also Chris Barrie (who went to my school….) has been known to do a few vidoes or series for tax purposes….

2, If the door is re-enforced, the pilots have ample time to point the gun at the door in preperation.
So during the time spent trying to land in a hurry, one of them has to keep his eyes and arms trained in the direction of the door? There was me thinking you actually need 2 of them to land it so that all checklists are done etc. Having one of them trained on the door means a risk to safety by checks etc not being done?
Not against guns but very tricky subject and i dont think there is 1 clear answer yet a combination of things that would provide the best solution.
Strange that this hasent been covered before given what UK Gov did today….. Personally would have thought that airlines would have sorted it out by now before todays changes were introduced but if they employed the very very, yet expensive on non new models, method wys suggested might be a while before fleets have them
