The Hercules ex-Indian University has arrived in the hangar via Indian Historic Flight, Tony Ditheridge and Rob Greinert in Australia. A long torturous journey but I have touched it! We can now move on by removing some components such as magnetos, air deflectors and induction pipes and preparing them for the hybrid engine build. Once we get the overhaul tools out of store the big work can commence.

Hi Texantomcat2,
That is my listing!
We have a couple of Hobson AIT carbs. which we will use for the Beaufighter. Am looking to identify commonality of spare parts for Hobson carbs. and injectors in the same time period so we can help all facing the same challenges.
Interesting, many thanks.
Denys, Do you have the whole manual scanned? If so it could be sent FOC to me by “WeTransfer”.
Attached is image of items we need Part No.s for.
A model change is usually the result of a minor change to enable fitment to a different Mk. of the same engine.
Hi Denys, What engine was the manual for? The diagrams are great but need the AP pages they refer to so we can get the Part No.s.
Wanted! Illustrated Parts Manual for the BI/BH series of Injectorrs so that we can sort out this mess of gaskets we acquired from NZ. Parts list and illustrations can be found at the rear end of the Volume 3 for the 100 and 700 series of the Bristol Hercules engines.
Once done surplus items can be passed on FOC to guys who have Bristol Hercules with this type of injector.
Thanks for the info guys. It all got to difficult to pick up where I left off.
Geoff, if you would not mind please send email.
Peter
