With me now being assistant DJ at the SU club in Oxford Brookes on wednesdays and fridays my main extravagence has been about £500 of my student loan on some stunning decks and a LOT of vinal. Mind you it’s worth it as I have free drink (to an extent) and the pick of the ladies. The scenery isn’t that bad either! Not bad for a wednesday night is it?

Yes we are talking over last christmas. So they must be Euromanx then.

Thank you for your time. You see i’m much more of a military buff myself- thats how I identified the RJ70s’ as BAe 146s’.

So in layman’s terms the aircraft are operating under a different livery to the carrier that owns them? So theyre effectively rented?

EGMN- thak you for that prompt and comprehensive reply.

The aircraft I have seen all bear a red tail with the three legs of man on them. I do not know whether these examples are Euromanx or simply Manx Airways, however the only aircraft I have seen in Ronaldsway in these markings are BAe 146’s.

    What is this foot-ball?

I know of only one sport to be played in this realm, and that’s RUGBY!!

A proper mans game, not this sissy excuse for a ‘sport’

    🙂

A good book for this subject is Martin Marix Evan’s book Invasion: Operation Sealion 1940. (ISBN: 058277294X).

The first half is factual information, detailing the lead up to an attempted invasion of the British Isles. The second half is pure conjecture, about what might have happened had Hitler given the go ahead. It does detail airborne operations, but I currently don’t have the book next to me at the moment, but i’ll get back to you.

With regards to a forum project, i’d REALLY love to be able to help out, but asides from being an ex CCF Flight Sergeant and an avid warbird spotter (both parafin burners and oversized desk fans lol) I have no skills to offer. Also as im a poor uni student so financially supporting a project would be a problem. However, i’d be more than willing to learn the basics of polishing and mackling to help out, even if it’s simply sweeping up. I’m sure we can all have a laugh! In April i’ll have my motorbike so will be able to travel to wherever help is needed. I’m free from wednesdays to sundays (oh that punishing university schedule lol). So yeh… if its needed ill help out!
