well said. The US are quick to jump on anyone else who has the balls to retaliate or do anything without the say so of the US. Whilst the US foreign policy seems to be to bomb everything that moves. At least the French waited until they were attacked… unlike some nations (my own included).

Unfortunatly i agree, dispite my numerous anti-french postings. French personel were strafed, France removed the threat. I see no reason why this was wrong. Keep up the good work, France (for once).

There was, i believe, a system malfunction in the Patriot system that fired on the RAF Tornado. But in the patriot system, all faults should cause a no-fire senario to occur. A Tornado, with undercarriage down, does NOT look like a missile, does NOT sound like a missile, NOR travel as fast as a missile. The Patriot operator was, i believe a 19 year old without sleep for 48 hours or something. HE had the responsibility to issue a malfunction and abort the missile before two British men were blown up by American hardware. Also, the battery commander travelled to the Tornado base to appologise and said that it was “an honest mistake”- at least thats what my cousin said, who is an armourer in that very same squadron, however i am willing to detract that at any point, should anyone have an actual transcript.

Um from my A level Geography lessons, i can tell you that for the deffinitions are simply as follows:
1st world-Capitalist and developing quickly using Globalisation methods and alike.
2nd world-Socialist or Communist states.
3rd World-Capitalist of Feudal states still with a predominance to agriculture and hand-to-mouth living.

So, therefore, as Russia is: a)not a Communist state anymore (so it cannot be 2nd world) or b) a 3rd world state still living in a feudal environment, (dispite a heavy bias on agriculture and alike, even today) and therefore cannot be defined as a 3rd world country, it is, by definition, a 1st world country.
So there.

Then how come it almost ALWAYS happens from US armed Forces and hardly ever from other (civilised) nations? In the iraq war alone the British suffered casualties from a Patriot missile shooting down a slow-flying RAF Tornado as a missile, one of our reporters in a convoy being strafed by the USAF dispite having clearance by the US forces to cross the area and losses on the ground to US marines. And British have done??? Nothing. Diddly squat. Not even one episode of Friendly fire since the 70’s. Its not an excuse that it was an honest mistake, just faulty intelligence and a pig-headed ignorance to BL**DY LOOK!

Wahoo… well done the USAF… wonder what hostiles they found on a hiking trail and in New Jersey… only joking, before ppl have a go at me for daring to criticise the USAF. A fine body of men and women… but unfortunatly creating fine BODIES of men from British and Canadian personnel…

I know mate, but the fact of the matter is that motorcycles can be ridden at 60mph on a twisty road and still look and sound like Joey Dunlop (RIP)… But there are some idiots on the road (there always are) but im just disputing the amount of fatal accidents CAUSED by cars.
