😡
Seconded 😡
I’ll be there Mrs Bee Bee…
Great Big Nose, we’ll put you down to display?
Errr- where might this be in Norfolk then?
It will be on a first come, first served basis and full details will be passed to those who get in first.
PM me if interested.
Please see above.
So to get back to the topic, a summary would be that it’s (legally) OK for a pregnant woman to drink and smoke to her heart’s content, but not to pilot an aircraft, though as a passenger it’s OK, though the legal prohibition is to prevent risks to her and the unborn that are the concern (where being a pilot or passenger is essentially the same). Oh, and it’s pegged to when the woman is prepared to fess up being pregnant, not any element of the nine months…
So either the (air) law’s WAY ahead of the game here, or way behind but doing an excellent smokescreen job using newer chronic risk data. Of course no one can believe the law’s an ass.
At last someone who sees the point! 🙂
Me neither – just get someone else to do the cleaning part! 😀
Exactly!!! 😀 😀 😀
Well stop asking me to wear yours then! 😮
As well you know I dont wear any!! 😉

Not very practical though. Any cockpit can be a bit grubby and AIUI a flight/boiler suit is preferable to clean the oil off the underside after a flight. Unless you can get someone else to do it…
Sounds like you are talking from experience Blue Robin!!
Maybe our planes are kept in a cleaner / better condition than yours as I have never worn a flight suit but have also never got anything on my clothes!! 😉
If men had to wear thongs they would have been banned by parliament! 😮

This girl was amazing, bless her; she used to fly the Chipmunk whilst wearing a summer frock. I’d love to do that. Nobody cared!
Cant see the problem with wearing a dress while flying (unless your a man!) 😮
Although I suspect the CAA probably have a rule against it somewhere! 😉
Elstree.
No sorry, never flown one or been to Elstree!
Bee Bee: I’m just trying to suss out if I know you. Were you flying a Chipmunk in 1995?
where do you think I was flying this chipmunk?
Anything to do with blood pressure (pre-eclampsia etc) and hormonal changes and/or problems etc?
High blood pressure and pre-eclampsia are all near the end problems when you would be too big anyway. I am talking about the first 5-6 months. Obviously as you are checked regularly all the way through anyway (and would obviously stop if you had any problems) I can see no reason for this ban.
That’s a good point actually. But you can go on an airliner when you’re pregnant can’t you???
Yes you can go on an airliner right up till about 6 weeks before without problem and then after that you need a doctors certificate.
