Like any privately owned corporations wants the Brazilian government to prioritize defense programs that give it the largest share of governmental investment. What`s so unique in this point of view? On the other hand developing, building and especially exporting advanced fighter aircraft is sure to expose the company to US restrictions or even sanctions, things very bad for the prospect of exporting Brazilian civilian/commercial aircraft, Embraer’s cash cow, to the largest market in the world, the US…

Which did not prevent them from sending a super tucano at pas 13, with a very interesting pilot btw 😉

Main problem will be synchronization. Then you have two solutions : either one aircraft (radar emitting one for ex) will become a reference and will have to integrate it in a datalink mesage directed to multistatic radar receivers, either they will have to rely on GPS like signals.
I mean the idea is a fighter A will emit both a radar signal and a description of this signal (+ time of emission) via a datalink.. Stealth planes mostly deflect signals, avoiding a return to their source but nt for other receivers. Why du think i’m so found about Tragedac program? And btw Riaino, the famous “integration of F35 to Aegis” etc from whythef35 blog has to be taken with a pinch of salt…

From an “insider” of program, NeuroN tests at “Solange” radar test facility gave better results then intended targets.

Carlos is partof the MIII club… And has killed an imprudent F16 with his Embraer using sidewinder. .. Bt nvm. My sole intent was to say dont dismiss brazilain pilots training and qualities.
Did u ever see a Super Tucano cockpit? large screens, large HUE, HOT etc. (israeli made). Fly it, it’s a pleasure!

if the radar is (i) sensitive enough and (ii) recognize waveform

When you put your hand on a fire, you will absorb some of its energy (and eventually get burnt)
