Some did, but only press agencies with huge pax. Expect incoming articles. Mostly they focus on manoeuvers prediction algorithms.

I bet Eagle drivers would disagree with you! It might be ageing but I pity the pilot who underestimates the Eagle in a fight.

Agree with you on that point.

So France and the UK are generally pointing in the same direction and singing from the same hymn sheet on the military foreign policy front these days and going into the future. The situation has even endured a change of government in France without any major change.

If the RAF is using Hawk for the coming decades for Typhoon and F35 training then it must work for Rafale too. The engine is something that the French would be very happy to operate with ( and are familiar with) and if there is a genuine need for a LIFT then I think Hawk is the most sensible system to take on.

Is there no scope for sharing the training resource?

Smthing about that on this blog : partail-aviation@blogspot.com . I didnt write it (even if i was present during interview 😉

Had private confirmation about MACE results. Rafale flew within kill range of S300 (notice, mpu2, not last gen ECCM model)

I’m dubious. I’m not the one that posted that video on youtube, but.
I think it is a beatiful one. It doese not prove in anyway that Rafale is a better plane than F22 (neither the reverse), but it clearly show that it has awesome low speed handling capabilities and that F22 has bunch of power and turning using TVC is just crazy.
Why not just get pleasure in it without flame war? Rafale killed a Raptor that day in that conditions, with these pilots. dot. F22 certainly can do the reverse, another day etc. It is probably the best modern dogfight video i saw, why not take it just like it is?
