without advance trainer they are going to put a lot more hrs on Rafale.

In fact an advanced trainer is top priority atm.

I want to stick to facts and avoid if possible politic issues on an aircraft forum 😎

Most sensible sentence i read on this very topic is that Syrians should be able to choose their own future.

Finally, the F-16 Block 50/52 most certainly is known for it great range and speed. The F-16 is the finest aircraft of its type in the world. Loaded for range the F-16 offers exceptional capabilities and when lightly loaded it is still one of the fastest accelerating fighters in the world. It can’t do both at the same time, but then to varying extents that is true of all 4th generation fighters. (less true of the F-15/Su-27/F-14s of the world)

Cant let you say that… Second finest maybe.

An F-16 was airborne for 13.5 hours during the Libyan campaign. Details at the link. Not all aircraft can do this sort of thing as many will run out of lubrication.

Nice achievement. Also for that Rafale mission. 21 bombs shot from 4 planes (including 12 shots within less a minute), no miss.

Different roles, different aircraft. And where’s the shortage of pallet deliverers? The UK has several Tristars, & is replacing them & the remaining VC-10s with 14 A330s, which can carry a lot more pallets than a 767. France intends to get a dozen of the same. And when you need a bit more, civil charters are easy.

Proper military transports are for delivering loads an airliner can’t carry, to places an airliner can’t go. Both the C-17 & A400M can do that.

    Agree on useless comparison.

I’m no fan of jf17, but should a plane be judged on foreign exports? i doubt it.

A400M is capable of tactical flights, try it on C17 (either low altitude parchutiong or landing on unprepared grounds). Different planes, different goals.
