well, it is poosible that its burned during the fire after the crash, but the art of the hole is strange. will take some other detail pictures…

maybe, the eyewitness have make a mistake about the crash-date… 🙁
one old women are living, but I cant found her location. I hope to find more details. Another eyewitness tells me, it crashed in the year 44… Its crazy, but it is more than 60 years ago…
In the summer I will go again to find more parts…

My informations are, on this pictures are a crashed Hampden ! Maybe the writer make a mistake??
Can you recognize on the pictures the type of a/c?
My problem is, I have informations about a crashed Hampden on 12./13.3.1942 near Kiel. But their is no Hampden crashed on this date…
or it is a mistake of myself?

Report of a Newpaper from Kiel:
“How yesterday reported, was during the fly over the Gaugebiet Schleswig-Holstein through british aircrafts 18 Bomber, partly with four engines, shot down. Once of this shoot down a/c crashed, from the defence hit, in the urban area, torn up a roof of a Church and smashed of a place in thousand parts. From the crew found four men the dead.”

after Flood has posted the big list of a/c, I compared his data with my list of crashes.
The problem now; I need the list of their crews…
In my list of the Kiel War Cemetary from 1939 to 1945 are all dates to find. but not all names of killed crewmembers was know. Important for me is who was killed and who was pow !?
Before I updated my website, I need the names. Maybe Flood can help again, or someone else…
