Well the low fare ‘bubble may burst’…
Possibly when better regulations are introduced for the working conditions of flight crew, which will then mean that the lo-co’s cannot work pilots for such dangerously long hours with low pay. Or maybe when Ryanair are forced to carry out their turnaround checks as thoroughly as they are supposed to – meaning turnaround times are drastically increased.
Does anyone really think that the small measures such as ticketless travel and no inflight magazines are enough to bring what used to be a £150 fare down to something like £9? They are just reasons to cover up the real money saving measures. Huge corners are probably being cut and I think eventually this may end the LCCs.
Yes! Is that the kind of pics you can get from ACE??! 😮 🙂 😮 😎
Ok, thanks. I’m thinking that just one model would be nice to go in the corner of my desk.
I think I’m the only person to ask this – but why do all the more expensive models come WITHOUT a stand and the gear down?
Personally, I think that landing gear spoils an aircraft’s gracefullness.
Amazing quality photos!
You actually managed to make the Britannia/Thomson livery look very nice!
The place you took them from is a very good spotting spot where I go every now and then. Let’s just hope they don’t put a huge fence up to get in the way. 🙁
Looks like I’m the only person with a Helios 737….
Cool, I wouldn’t mind one of those….if it had winglets.
I like it, and I certainly think you’ve made the absolute best out of the tight budget that you say was available to you.
When will we be able to see it on the Dash? 🙂
Wow! Excellent pics!
I don’t think you would have any trouble getting them onto a.net.
Very nice photos! I went today, but don’t have any pics due to lack of a camera. Behind the flightdeck of the Binter ATR is a cargo area – does this prevent cabin to cockpit access (or vice versa) as it appears to be the width of the aircraft?
Very nice shots there, saw the Air Berlin special livery at STN today. Looked very excellent 😀
Not as excellent as the same livery on the Korean 738 which I saw at Farnborough today. :p
Maybe the ‘…longer…’ slogen on the A346 gave them the wrong idea? 😮
Yeah, I suspected it had something to do with pleasing both sides. There can’t be too many other reasons I suppose.
Ok, so no-one seems interested…
However, the airshow’s commentry is currently on air. They were discussing the EMB 190 as it did a display.
Although it’s not a particularly interesting announcement as Virgin already operate A346s, I find it surprising since I would have thought VS already had pleanty of these aircraft to fit the kind of routes they are optimised for…
