Very nice. G-SHOG is a strange aeroplane!
Here are some more.. 🙂
Thanks everyone!
T5, I agree with you – It took ages to get out because the que for the shuttle bus was really long, and then once on the bus it was so crowded and hot. We got a police escort though, with police bikes making cars get out the way and wait on the pavements so we could get through! When we got to Le Bourget RER station the whole place was extreamely busy and waiting for the train took ages. All of this in temperatures of about 30˚C.
When I went to Farnborough everything was much better organised and there was very little waiting for the buses and trains.
Deano777 – Sure, save them if you like!
I have some more which I will post later. I need to do some revision now though.. 🙁
Thanks,
Luke.
Very good shots. The 772LR was so shiny!
Glad to hear you enjoyed your flight in a Piper 28, especially as I’m having a trial lesson in one tomorrow! I have flown in a Cessna 150 before, but not yet a Warrior.
Once things were up and running the aircraft transferred to the UK register as G-OUZO, and as the route grew was replaced with the A321, G-VATH.
Just incase anyone is interested, G-OUZO is now G-JOEM flying for MyTravel Lite.
Why is it at the same time as Paris?
I might come, I’d have to fly to LPL though and get a train to the airport..
Excellent news, I always expected an order for ERJ 195s. They seem like very good aircraft. If they went for A319/737 it would have been commercial suicide IMO.
As a side note, has anyone else noticed the change to the flybe logo, where the orange line below ‘be.’ has changed to a series of dots. It can be seen on the website logo and on the Embraer. Although it’s just a small change, I prefer the older logo. They have also removed the words ‘British European’ from the logo which makes sense.
Does anyone think that buying the tickets with seats in the stand for the air show is worth it? Does it put you much closer to the action, and does it improve photography?
The Air Transport Users Council recently wrote a report on Taxes and Charges.
See it here: http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/306/AUC%20report%20on%20taxes,%20fees%20and%20charges.pdf
Nice pics… But wait! Wow, the Fokker and the Dash-8 have still got wheels… In Liverpool! 😮 Thought they’d have been up on blocks! 😉 :p :diablo: 😀
Andy
lol! 😀
Quality pics.
That Alexandair thing has a tail similar to Helios Airways, and the font is the same as Helios. Any connection?

This is what I’m doing, although it’s not something you would do if you want to become an airline pilot/ATCO. The courses are supposed to be broad and give you a good general knowledge of the aviation industry plus the main principles of business and management.
What a bleady mess. They had kept the Corsair tail logo at first, but now even thats gone.
