I have a friend who lives and works on the Solent, Plymouth.
He states there is, up the Hamble, an ASR Launch, that is in a good state of repair.
The number, he has stated is …..101…Thats all he can tell me, anyone live down there can shed any light as to whether there is indeed, this vessel moored up there, and if so, any idea as to it’s history.
Not being of any interest to him, he has not delved any further into the vessel, anyone any ideas please?.

The best motorcycle that I have had

Yes we go back many years and the best machine I have had even although it was in the 50’s was a Douglad 90 plus traverse twin 350cc finished in the then new metalic blue, it looked and rode lovely.

One other point which I would like to know is – after a driver has won the Championship why does his performance seen to fall off during the following year? or am I imagining things.

Northamptonshire Police

Hello all,

Just about to hopefully do a career move into Northamptonshire Police. The whole application takes about 2 years from start to finish.

However, if anyone here is in the police…is the 2 year wait, worth the wait? I work in security now and love it when we have to go deal with someone and love it when it kicks off a bit.

So what i really want to know, is the job overall worth while and enjoyable?

Northamptonshire was a nice county in the 50’s and 60’s I was a Traffic policeman and I drove G4 (Wolseley 6/110) which was kept immaculate by ourselves we dressed smartly and were respected by the piblic.
NOT ANYMORE the cars are dirty and the officers scruffy and the public has deteriorated not only with respect for the Emergency Services but everyone else.
If you move to this county please sort things out, we were once a good force.
