They mention that they have taken two of them to bits on their website !
I will give them a bell.

    Thanks for the lead

Thats why I’m trying to source one in the UK,

Just thought that there might be someone who has already bought one, who now wants to sell.

A chap from the USA bought one from the Bonds of London sale (directly from MOD not another dealer) which was Ex Colitishall battle damage repair training, around 11-13 years ago.
Rumour was he was going to try and make it fly again !

It will remain on it’s wheels rather than “in the air” (like the ex Coltishall one now at county hall), so technically as it is on wheels it would not need planning.

Taking into account the extra cost of transport and the cost to make tidy / re-paint etc. As cheap as possible !

Realistically though, I would like to pay the right side of £10k, the ones I have seen for sale start at a bit more than that (minus cockpit gear and engines)

To be honest, the ones the dealer has are probably a little too good for what i’m looking to do with it (paint it up and stick it in my drive)

In Ken Ellis’s books (Wrecks & Relics / Lost Aviation Collections) there seem to be loads of modern jets floating around needing attention.

Trouble is many of these collections are all to keen to say
“yes please, we will have that”
but lack the funding to make anything nice of their new toys.

So they just end up rotting away covered in moss

    Sad really
